The world situation is more uncertain than ever before. Wars in the middle east and east europe affecting our society. When people think of a war against the west they often conventionally think of large military deployments of armies. However, the use of large military deployment is also likely to lead to escalations and use of tactical nuclear weapons. This is unlikely but not inconceivable.

Rather, one must think of disruption of our society through misinformation, destruction of data cables, hacking of power plants, sabotage of data centers, water supply, payments, etc. We are enormously vulnerable with our digital, heavily electricity-dependent society. It is people's panic and unpreparedness that is the greatest danger. Looting, home robberies, riots, and violence create unsafe situations. If the Corona pandemic taught us anything, it is that supermarkets are empty within hours. That was only a mild form of panic.

Be prepared and make sure you are not surprised by the moment.

Better having it not needing it, than needing it not having it.
