Cooking and heating

When you're camping you may need something to cook with, but also when power goes out and your electric stove doesn't work. You should at least be able to make coffee or tea and boil a pot of water.

In your preparations, look for different heat sources. What if gas doesn't work or electricity does? Maybe you still have an old petroleum set from your Grandma or some canisters of camping gas (with burner) to empty the first emergency with.

Oh yeah ... don't forget that in the event of a power outage, your central heating boiler will also quit. Do you have an off grid heater available or blankets to snuggle under?
