This is a product of ESP (European security products).
Hardened telescopic batons (ExB) are intended for professional use in extreme conditions. They serve for rapid self-defense in various conflict situations.

For Krav Maga students, we recommend training batons. This stick is for advanced training only and at your own risk.

The difference from the non-hardened version are the expandable tubes, which are made of a more superior material, which is hardened by heat treatment. This makes the stick highly resistant to bending when subjected to a hard blow. Surface finish is black nickel-zinc (with good resistance to abrasion).

They meet the requirements of the German standard for retractable batons. This product is suitable for police, security forces and guards, against an attacker armed with a knife, to walk through the country alone or with a dog.

The retractable baton opens with a sharp movement and remains firmly in this position.

Ergonomic handle "HE": This handle has an ergonomic shape with a pleasant surface.

Supplied with plastic holder BH-55 that allows the holster to be positioned in 16 positions in a 360° range.

Length of the baton closed: 9" / 230 mm
Length of the baton extended: 21" / 534 mm
Weight (without holder): 480 g

Legal or not?
The law has never protected anyone in a conflict situation and the police are usually richly overdue. You are on your own. Using a weapon is punishable, but being severely beaten, raped or murdered is not what you want either. Option 1 is avoid situation, option 2 is run away, option 3 is de-escalate and option 4 is fight. Not everyone is a fighter and using a weapon for deterrence or self-defense is a last resort.
