Self-defense
Articles to support a self-defense situation.
Articles never replace thorough reality-based training that focuses on simple techniques and mindset.
Purchasing or possessing these items is not prohibited (over 18 yrs.)
Using or carrying some of these "weapons" in public areas for self-defense is prohibited by law.
You can, of course, buy a law book and bombard your attacker with articles and arguments. So the law does not protect anyone at all in an emergency situation, but is always used afterwards to tell you all the things you should have done better and differently. Police officers regularly have to deal with this themselves, and they are, by the way, somewhat trained as well.
The choice is entirely yours, but I call using objects an acceptable risk. Better a fine or jail than rehabilitation and/or lifelong trauma or worse as we say in The Hague "and a garden on your belly".
Items marked ✅ may always be carried and used for self-defense
